Aaron Mahone, CEO & Founder
"When I became a homeowner I encountered problem after problem. I tried to solve each one on my own. Too many homeowners feel the same way I did. I knew there had to be a better way—that's when ANCHOR was born."
Aaron brings extensive experience in tech to the challenges of owning a home. While building his own house, he saw the need for a way to help the multitude of homeowners all trying to solve the same problems by themselves. What if everyone could learn from the collective experience? In 2022, he left tech to explore that possibility, working as a residential roofer and union contractor before developing ANCHOR. He holds a bachelor’s from Binghamton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Ian Toole, Co-founder

Ian brings nearly 20 years of experience in residential and small commercial real estate and construction, covering funding, valuations, acquisitions, management, and accounting. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist who has performed alongside Grammy Award winners and nominees.
